How do Commissions Work?
Thank you for considering a commission with me! I strive to create a collaborative and transparent process for all my clients. Here's how it works:
Scope Definition: We begin by discussing your expectations, budget, and timeline for the project. Once we've agreed on the parameters, I will issue a quote for the final product.
Contract Signing: To reaffirm the scope and protect both parties, we will sign a contract outlining cancellation fees, refunds, etc. A 50% deposit is required before the artwork begins.
Artwork Stages: I will work on the artwork in 4 stages. First, I will send you a series of thumbnails - rough sketches outlining composition. You can choose the version you like, then I will create a more detailed sketch in the canvas size we agreed upon and according to the timeline outlined in the contract. Next, I will send you the finished piece for your feedback or revision requests. After the final artwork is approved by you, I will require the final payment.
Final Delivery: Once the final payment is made, I will send you the finished image as well as the master production files.
I believe that communication is key to a successful project. Throughout the process, I will keep you updated with the progress of your artwork and answer any questions you might have. Together, we can create a unique and personalized piece that you'll cherish for years to come. Contact me to get started!
